On Weekends and bank holidays!
In the winter of 2006/2007, our first winter in our new restaurant we wanted to offer something different.
As entrepreneur you are always looking for ways to attract customers, so we thought we would try our luck and do a buffet as we more or less know it from our home country of Denmark. There are not many places that offer buffets in the province of Cádiz and NO one does them quite like we do! With a big emphasis on fresh salads and vegetables but also with pork roasts, roast beef and homemade bread and desserts. Little by little it became quite a succes, with people coming from as far away as Seville and Malaga to eat our buffet. So we are still doing our buffet, here 10 years after!
Below shows you an example of our buffet, but remember that it changes every second weekend!
Buffet – Restaurante Patría
Selection of cheeses and cured sausages from the area, with olives
Cold melon soup with cucumber
Potato salad with dill and mustard
Spelt salad with pumpkin
Potato “cakes” with cod salad
Aubergine Babaganoush with fried peppers and endive
Cabbage salad with smoked pineapple
Cauliflower salad with peach and leeks
Squid with white beans
Roast beef and pork with potatoes and “mojo” sauce
18 € pr. person – 6,50 € for children (4-11 years) – free for toddlers (0-3 years)
Please note that we do not do it in the hot summer months of July, August and September!
Please notice that we are very flexible regarding food allergies. Upon arrival please tell us what you cannot eat and we will sort it out for you or make something special!
